I received a much wanted Instant Pot for Christmas!
We’ve been having fun putting up meals from My Freeze Easy, where in addition to all of the regular categories there’s now a whole category for the Instant Pot! This time around, we (The Artist and I) put only Instant Pot meals in our menu plan, so as to get used to using this brand new appliance. We’ve now served all five of the recipes we put up, and still have one of each in our freezer.
First up, in 8 minutes we did Meatballs and Marinara sauce.
Here they are, at the end of 8 minutes . . .
And, plated!
Next, we did New Brunswick Stew, which took about a half hour.
Then, we did Chicken Cordon Bleu, cooking time about 20 minutes.
Next up was French Onion Pork Chops, which were cooked in about 20 minutes.
Finally, Mushroom Beef Pot roast, which took 55 minutes!
This is such a great appliance! And it’s nothing like my mother’s pressure cooker, which I was always terrified of. Plus, it has other functions we haven’t even explored yet, like slowcooker, cake maker, rice cooker, steamer, food warmer, yogurt maker, sauté pan, and sterilizer. I will never use the yogurt maker. 🙂
All in all, I’m very happy with this appliance, and very glad I’ve been asking for one!
As always, I would just love it if you would join me in all of “My Journeys Through Life.” Just go to the subscription box at the top of the blog and enter your email information. After that, you will always know when there is something new happening. I hope to see you here very soon! -)
I’ve had an Instant Pot for almost 4 years. The first one was a Christmas gift from my sister. I use it almost every day. When it went on the fritz, tried trouble shooting with the company. After a few tries the company gifted us with a new one. That’s what I call customer service!
